Q. Why a Sunroom / Gardenroom?
A. Sunrooms and Gardenrooms are the easiest way to expand your inside
living into the outdoors. Today's technology allows for year around enjoyment
in all weather environments. Your Sunroom / Gardenroom quickly becomes
the favorite room in the house for all members of the family!
Q. What is the difference between an Sunroom and
a Gardenroom?
A. Sunrooms have glass ceilings and walls. Gardenrooms have an insulated
ceiling for year around use. The Garden room is very energy efficient
with R-30 insulative value.
Q. Cost of a Gardenroom VS. Wood frame construction?
A. While every Gardenroom is custom built and no two are exactly alike,
generally the cost of a Gardenroom is 50% of wood frame construction.
Q. What is my return on investment and financing
options?
A. Generally, Gardenrooms have a 98% return on investment. In other
words, every dollar invested into your Gardenroom increases the value
of your home by a dollar. Because of the 98% value increase, there are
many unique financing options to fit the needs of most home owners.
Q. What would be the anticipated construction time
of my Gardenroom?
A. If we need to pour cement, about one and a half weeks. If new cement
is not needed, the room usually is up in a couple of weeks..
Q. What is the ordering process?
A.
a) We come to your home for measurements and a design session.
b) Our finance team goes to work (if applicable).
c) Your custom room materials are requested from the factory.

Q. Will my Sunroom hold up in heavy snow conditions?
A. Yes! California Sunrooms will meet the snow load requirements established
by your local building authority. All structural components are reviewed
by our engineering department during the design of your California Sunroom.
Q. How long does it take to install a Sunroom?
A. A qualified, professional installation team working on prepared
ground with a crew of three people should take about a couple of weeks. Site preparation and any extras could lengthen the installation
time.
Q. I am a "Do-it-yourself" type person. Can I install
the unit myself?
A. This question is difficult to answer. The homeowner is always faced
with a series of obstacles, such as lack of help, difficulties with site
preparation, and also not having all the necessary tools and supplies
available. You probably can install the unit yourself, but plan on spending
about 2 to 3 times the amount of time it would take a professional installer.
Why not avoid frustration? Let an experienced team do the work for you.
Q. What about a warranty?
A. At California Sunrooms we use only the highest quality materials
available. Our Sunrooms carry a "lifetime warranty" (subject to terms
and conditions) which can be transferred to the new owner should you decide
to sell your home.
Q. Could I put a hot tub or spa in a Sunroom?
A. Yes, and what a great idea! Other than support framing for the
hot tub or spa, no other changes or modifications are required. It is
advisable, however, to ensure that the ventilation is adequate to prevent
high humidity conditions and that none of the chemicals utilized will
cause damage to your Sunroom
